Poll Statistics

(The article The New Crusaders starts below the Poll Statistics)

We run polls on our website to reach out to believers (maybe even non-believers) to find out what they believe about the end times.

Here are the results...

Do you believe that in the end times Christians will reform their government to conform to the Bible before the return of Jesus?

Yes    4931   98.8%
No         59     1.2%

Number of Voters:    4991
First Vote: Tuesday, 04 October 2011
Last Vote: Monday, 03 December 2012

To be fair, we at Eye On Prophecy have tried to find verses in the Bible to justify these results in some way. We could not turn up even one verse to show that Christians will bring about a reformation so stunning, as to create a Biblical theocracy in the United States. In fact the verses are plentiful that show there will be a great falling away in the end times.

Years ago, we worked at God’s News Behind The News Ministry and wrote an article that appeared in their magazine “God’s News Behind The News’ the July/August, 1999 Issue. The article that appeared was titled “The New Crusaders - Of The New World Religion” Also subtitled “Preterism & Kingdom Now” The Doctrines Of The Apostate Church. While at the time the leadership of that ministry was standing against Preterism and rightfully so, it had also unknowingly assimilated many of the article’s apostate doctrines.

The Lord Jesus tells:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

We find this Bible scripture being fulfilled before our very eyes. The poll results show that many people are expecting a radical transformation of our government, bringing it under the dominion of the Lord BEFORE the return of Christ. This is the essence of Kingdom Now Dominionism, and it is a heresy.

Following is the article we wrote some 12 years ago...

Dissent From Darwinism PDF Print E-mail

Dissent From Darwinism

"We are skeptical of the claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged."
- from A Scientific Dissent From Darwinism

These words of wisdom are found in a document called "A Scientific Dissent From Darwinism", which has been signed to date by 400 scientists from various scientific disciplines. Since Darwin's theory has been entrenched in the public arena, you would expect a controversy to arise when scientists disagree about its claims to explain life on Earth. A battle of Darwinian proportions is raging in the public arena, but not over the "evidence" for Darwinism. This battle is over whether Darwin's theory should be challenged at all. It is a battle for survival.

This war is being waged against what we know to be 'Intelligent Design'. For our world to have been purposely created demands the acknowledgment of an Intelligent Designer. The existence of a Creator is a fact that many people refuse to accept. These people would rather think of life, all life, as a series of successful accidents. And there are those within this camp that believe that Darwinian theory must never be challenged. If Darwinian theory does not survive the struggle, everyone would be faced with the unthinkable - the existence of the Creator.

Violence and the Lesson of Noah

Americans are increasingly witness to immeasurable acts of wanton, gruesome, violence here at home. From the bombings in Boston, testimony in the trial of Jody Arias, killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and the murderous details coming from the abortion mills of Philadelphia and others, Americans have seen and been witnesses to it all.  And if that was not enough, we were reminded yesterday of the mass murders from September 11, 2001, as a piece of one hijacked plane's landing gear, was discovered next to a proposed Islamic center in New York City. The site has again become an open crime scene and the terror attacks New York, Washington, Pennsylvavia, and now Boston, all haunt the American conscious.

There is no question that violence is raining down on America. No news outlet, no politician, no terrorism expert, nor anypsychiatrist, can adequately explain what we are seeing with our own eyes and heard with our own ears. Calls for increased gun control, birth control, population control, surveillance, taxation, and the like, are rampant. These are not real solutions. Truthfully, we all know that deep inside. The truth is that violence resides in the human heart.

There is also no question that violence has been raining down on the whole world. But the world has been a violent place since Cain slew Abel.  Wanton human violence became so rampant in the days of Noah, that it was noted in Genesis:

"The earth was also corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth." Genesis 6: 11-13

It is important to note, that after passing judgement on mankind, God proceeded to instruct Noah on how to save himself and his family from the destruction that was to come. Noah, although human with human flaws, was counted a righteous man by faith.

"By faith, Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became the heir of the righteousness which is by faith." Hebrews 11:7

Jesus also warned his disciples of the coming days of great tribulation and of His return. Jesus likened those days as to the days of Noah:

"But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. And they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew 24: 37-39

The lesson learned from Noah is to prepare yourself and your family, not for destruction, but for salvation. That is good news!

Our ark, our salvation, is Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have

everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

John 3:16-17 .
